Pauli Paramagnetism and Superconducting State

Abstract

The effect of the Pauli paramagnetism on superconductors is discussed in detail. It is shown that the phase transition due to the paramagnetic effect changes its order from the :first to the second as temperature increases. The modification of the mixed state in superconductors of the second kind is also discussed.
