Total Synthesis and Structure Assignment of (+)‐Hexacyclinol

Abstract

Strukturzuordnung: Die kürzlich vorgeschlagene revidierte Struktur von (+)-Hexacyclinol (1) wurde nach der Totalsynthese des Naturstoffs bestätigt. Im Mittelpunkt der Synthese stand die hoch stereoselektive Diels-Alder-Dimerisierung eines Epoxychinol-Monomers, auf die eine säurekatalysierte intramolekulare Cyclisierung folgte.
