5-Phenyl-2-furaldehyde: Synthesis, Reactions and Biological Activities

Abstract

PHENYL-2-furaldehyde is a good starting material for designing of .......polyfunctionalized .......heterocyclic compounds with pharmacological interest such as antimicrobial and antitumor activities. This review article focused on some synthetic methods, reactions and biological activities of 5-phenyl-2-furaldehyde.
