Zwei in einem: Durch kovalente Verknüpfung NADPH-abhängiger Baeyer-Villiger-Monooxygenasen mit einer Phosphitdehydrogenase für die Coenzym-Regeneration wurden Biokatalysatoren erhalten, die zwei Funktionen in sich vereinen (siehe Schema; NADP+=Nicotinamidadenindinucleotidphosphat). Nicht nur die gereinigten Fusionsproteine, sondern auch ganze Zellen und Rohzellextrakte, die die Enzymkonjugate enthalten, katalysieren Biotransformationen mit hoher Effizienz.
