Indeno[1,2‐b]fluorenes: Fully Conjugated Antiaromatic Analogues of Acenes

Abstract

Eine weitere Wahl: Vollständig konjugierte, formal antiaromatische Indeno[1,2-b]fluorene (siehe Struktur) wurden aus den entsprechenden Dionen durch eine SnCl2-vermittelte Reduktion synthetisiert, die häufig zur Erzeugung von Acenen eingesetzt wird. Die Ergebnisse optoelektronischer Studien belegen, dass Indenofluorene die üblichen Acene wie Pentacen in Materialienanwendungen ersetzen könnten.
