Abstract

Wofür Fluor? Neuartige IrIII-Komplexe mit Pyridyltriazolat-Chromophoren und einem tripodalen, doppelt cyclometallierten Phosphitliganden (P C2) zeigten auch ohne Fluorsubstituenten eine effiziente blaue Phosphoreszenz. Mit [Ir(P C2)(bptz)(PMe2Ph)] (siehe Bild) dotierte organische Leuchtdioden erwiesen sich als außerordentlich leistungsfähig (bptz=3-tert-Butyl-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazolat).
