Abstract

Die HCl-Konzentration ist der Schlüssel: Sie steuert die Kondensation von Ethylenharnstoff mit Formaldehyd so effektiv, dass gezielt das Hemicucurbit[6]uril 1, das als Wirtmolekül wirkt, oder das Hemicucurbit[12]uril 2, ein Gelbildner, in 94 bzw. 93 % Ausbeute erhalten wird.
