Glaubwürdig: Die Struktur von Membranproteinen hängt von der in der Strukturcharakterisierung verwendeten Umgebung ab. NMR-Spektren des tetrameren M2-Protonenkanals des Influenza-A-Virus wurden direkt in E.-coli-Membranen aufgenommen und mit den Spektren des Proteins in synthetischen Lipiddoppelschichten verglichen.
