Abstract

<i>Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery</i>is the latest attempt to offer comprehensive coverage of the specialty under one title. One could question the need for a new start on an old problem rather than revised editions of previous undertakings. The four-volume set is edited by Charles W. Cummings, MD, chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Washington. Each volume has its own editor as well.
