Abstract

Hohe Selektivität und hohe Ausbeuten charakterisieren die Oxidation von Glycerin zu Dihydroxyaceton mit Benzochinon oder Luft in Gegenwart des Katalysators 1. Als Mechanismus wird die reversible Bildung eines Palladiumalkoxids mit umsatzbegrenzender Reoxidation des Palladiumkomplexes vorgeschlagen.
