Spinübergang mit Symmetriebruch: Ein Cobalt(II)-Koordinationspolymer zeigt ein hoch kooperatives Spin-Crossover(SCO)-Verhalten mit einer kleinen Hystereseschleife (siehe Bild; HS=High Spin, LS=Low Spin). Die Korrelation der magnetischen Eigenschaften mit den Kristallstrukturen wurde bei unterschiedlichen Temperaturen bestimmt. Die Studie offenbart einen ungewöhnlichen reversiblen Symmetriebruch in einem d7-SCO-Koordinationspolymer.
