Lewis-basische, metallfreie Pyridyloxazoline katalysieren die Reduktion prochiraler aromatischer Ketone und Ketimine mit Cl3SiH mit guter Enantioselektivität (bis 94 % ee). Aren-Aren-Wechselwirkungen zwischen Substrat und Katalysator spielen bei der Enantiodifferenzierung vermutlich eine Rolle.
