Twenty-six cases of pulmonary cryptococcosis are presented. The most common radiographic findings were single or multiple circumscribed masses or nodules in the upper lobes, which must be differentiated from neoplasms. Other less common radiographic manifestations include nonspecific segmental pneumonias, cavitation, lymphadenopathy, pleural effusion, and generalized miliary disease. Although pulmonary cryptococcosis is relatively uncommon, the diagnosis should be considered in any patient with meningitis and abnormal pulmonary roentgen findings.
