Die gleichzeitige Anordnung dreier Komponenten auf Ag(111)-Oberflächen durch drei Arten von Wasserstoffbrücken führt zu linearen supramolekularen Nanostrukturen, wie diese STM-Untersuchung ergab. Zwei komplementäre lineare Module (blau und grün im Bild) und ein molekularer Stopper (rot) mit Anthracenyl-Endgruppe bauen diskrete lineare Oligomere, Pentamere und Trimere auf.
