Fluorescence‐Quenching‐Based Enzyme‐Activity Assay by Using Photon Upconversion

Abstract

Licht aus! Ein empfindlicher Enzymaktivitäts-Assay vereint die Vorteile von Leuchtstoffen, die bei Nah-IR-Anregung im Sichtbaren photolumineszieren, (UCPs) und Fluoreszenzlöschung. Dies ermöglicht den Einsatz von Fluoreszenzmarkern in Partikelform in einem löschungsbasierten Assay, obwohl auf direktem Wege keine ausreichende Löscheffizienz der Partikelfluoreszenz erzielbar ist. IR-Anregung macht sogar die Verwendung stark farbiger Proben möglich.
