A new range of polymeric scale inhibitors has been developed combining exceptional scale control activity with enhanced adsorption properties. The polymers are stable up to at least 200ºC and have high activity against barium sulphate and calcium carbonate scales. By incorporating novel end-capped technology, it is now possible to produce scale inhibitors with improved adsorption properties which provide significantly extended squeeze lifetimes relative to conventional technology.
