A Dinuclear Zn Catalyst for the Asymmetric Nitroaldol (Henry) Reaction

Abstract

Nachholbedarf besteht bei der katalytischen enantioselektiven Nitroaldolreaktion, wenn man die Entwicklung der asymmetrischen Aldolreaktion als Messlatte nimmt. Ein neuartiger zweikerniger Zinkkatalysator wurde nun entwickelt, der bei der Reaktion von Nitromethan mit mehreren Aldehyden 78–93 % ee bei Ausbeuten von 58–90 % gewährleistet (siehe Schema).
