Automated Solid‐Phase Synthesis of β‐Mannuronic Acid Alginates

Abstract

Ein großer Schritt hin zum Routineeinsatz: Die Titelsynthese ergibt Mannuronsäurealginatfragmente mit bis zu 12 cis-mannosidischen Verknüpfungen in Mengen von mehreren Milligramm (siehe Schema; Bn=Benzyl, Lev=Lävulinoyl). Mannuronsäure-Bausteine wurden in einen Kohlenhydrat-Synthesizer der zweiten Generation eingesetzt, der die stereoselektive Einführung der β-mannosidischen Bindungen in einem vollautomatisierten Prozess gewährleistet.
