Abstract

Ring auf Ring: Durch Selbstorganisation formbeständiger Makrocyclen in der flüssigkristallinen Phase unter π-π-Stapelung entstehen leere Nanokanäle mit einem Innendurchmesser von mehr als einem Nanometer und entweder dichten oder durchlässigen Wänden (siehe Bild). Festkörper-NMR-spektroskopischen Studien zufolge befinden sich weder Lösungsmittelmoleküle noch Alkylketten in den Kanälen.
