Formen mit Zukunft? Monodisperse tetraedrische Rhodiumnanopartikel von (4.9±0.4) nm Größe auf Aktivkohle (▴/C) sind 5.8- und 109-mal aktivere Katalysatoren in der Hydrierung von Anthracen als gleich große kugelförmige Rhodiumnanopartikel (•/C) auf Aktivkohle bzw. als käufliches Rh/C (siehe Bild). Sie hydrieren auch einige weitere Arene mit hoher Selektivität und ausgezeichneter Aktivität.
