Abstract

<b>Objectives</b> This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the benefits and harms of antimicrobial mouthwashes and nasal sprays administered to patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection in order to protect the healthcare workers (HCWs) caring for them. To assess the benefits and harms of antimicrobial mouthwashes and nasal spray in improving outcomes for patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection.
