Stacked Platinum Complexes of the Magnus’ Salt Type Inside a Coordination Cage

Abstract

Fein säuberlich eingewickelt liegen alternierend gestapelte quadratisch-planare Platin(II)-Komplexe innerhalb eines zweikernigen Koordinationskäfigs vor und bilden so eine diskrete Pt5-Anordnung {[Pt(Pyridin)4]⋅[PtCl4]2@Käfig} vom Magnus-Typ. Der Komplex konnte in Lösung charakterisiert werden, und eine Röntgenstrukturanalyse ließ die lineare fünfkernige Struktur sowie deren ringförmige Packung zu einer hohlen röhrenförmigen Überstruktur erkennen.
