Abstract

Positiver Wassereffekt: Ein Katalysator aus [Pd2(dba)3] (dba=Dibenzylidenaceton) und (S)-Siphos-PE bewirkt die enantioselektive Kupplung von N-Allylharnstoffen mit Arylbromiden zu 4-substituierten Imidazolidin-2-onen. Zusätze von Wasser führen zu deutlich erhöhten Enantioselektivitäten mit elektronenarmen Arylhalogenidsubstraten. Es wird vermutet, dass die reduktive Eliminierung unter C-C-Bindungsbildung der enantioselektive Schritt dieser Reaktionen ist.
