Abstract

Das Conanostrukturieren von PbTe mit zwei Arten von Metallnanopartikeln (Pb und Sb) kann dessen Leistungsfaktor bei hohen Temperaturen deutlich steigern (bis zu 87 % bei 700 K, siehe Bild, ZT=Gütefaktor). Die elektrische Leitfähigkeit nimmt bei hohen Temperaturen drastisch zu, ohne dass die Thermoleistung abnimmt. Dieses Phänomen tritt nur auf, wenn beide Arten von Nanokristallen vorhanden sind.
