Abstract

Kontrolle von Membranverschmutzungen: Ein Elektrokatalysereaktor mit einer TiO2/C-Membran, die als Filter und Anode zugleich fungiert, wurde für die Behandlung industrieller Abwässer entwickelt. Während der Abwasserbehandlung erzeugt die TiO2/C-Membran Mikroströmungen, die die Konzentrationspolarisation mindern, sowie reaktive Intermediate, die organische Schmutzstoffe auf der Membranoberfläche oder in den Poren zu CO2 und H2O oder kleinen biologisch abbaubaren Produkten zersetzen (siehe Schema).
