Abstract

The first two-thirds of this book are concerned mainly with the macroscopic or field approach to electrical theory, and the remainder with the atomistic or electronic approach. However, the authors have not hesitated to use atomic and electronic ideas in developing the field theory, when it seemed appropriate.
