Das molekulare leiterförmige, eindimensionale Zn-4,4′-Bipyridylethylen-Koordinationspolymer 1 bildet in einer photochemischen [2+2]-Cycloaddition über die Holmen das Polymer 2 in bis zu 100 % Ausbeute.
