Abstract

Magnetische Momente: Die Orientierung des im Titel genannten Einzelmolekülmagneten wurde durch Einkristall- und Lumineszenzcharakterisierung in Verbindung mit Ab-initio-Rechnungen untersucht und hängt von der Position der H-Atome der apikalen Wassermoleküle ab. Dieser Befund bedeutet, dass einfache magneto-strukturelle Korrelationen zu irreführenden Schlussfolgerungen für Forschungen über molekularen Magnetismus und die Entwicklung von MRI-Kontrastmitteln führen können.
