Abstrahiert: Hochvalente Eisen(IV)-Oxo-Komplexe mit Häm- und Nichthäm-Liganden wurden in situ erzeugt und in mechanistischen Untersuchungen der Alkoholoxidation genutzt (siehe Schema). Für den Oxidationsmechanismus wird eine Abstraktion von α-CH-Wasserstoffatomen mit nachfolgendem Elektronentransfer vorgeschlagen. Porp=Porphyrin.
