Abstract

Eine einfache Kupplungsstrategie führt effizient zu aliphatischen Oligoharnstoff-Foldameren. Kristallstrukturanalysen belegen, dass die Pyrrolidin-Einheiten (rot; siehe Bild) die Faltung der Oligoharnstoff-Helices nicht beeinträchtigen. Die modulare Strategie öffnet einen Zugang zu langen Helixstrukturen mit nicht benachbarten Pyrrolidin-Einheiten, etwa in der Synthese einer ungefähr 40 Å langen Helix.
