Fine Size Control of Platinum on Carbon Nanotubes: From Single Atoms to Clusters

Abstract

Eine Bindungsbildung zwischen einzelnen Pt-Atomen und Oberflächen-Thiolgruppen ist die Folge der Reduktion einer Pt-Vorstufe in Gegenwart Oberflächen-thiolierter Kohlenstoffnanoröhren. Durch Variation der Temperatur bei der anschließenden Wärmebehandlung wurden monodisperse Pt-Cluster mit fein einstellbarer Größe aus den dispergierten Einzelatomen erhalten (siehe Bild).
