Platinum‐Catalyzed Intramolecular [4C+3C] Cycloaddition between Dienes and Allenes

Abstract

Systeme mit Siebenringen: Die drei Kohlenstoffatome von Allenylfragmenten können mit Dienen durch eine platinkatalysierte intramolekulare [4C+3C]-Cycloaddition zu siebengliedrigen Carbocyclen kombiniert werden (siehe Schema). Die Umwandlung überführt leicht zugängliche acyclische Vorstufen direkt und atomökonomisch in Polycyclen mit Cycloheptanringen.
