Abstract

HD patients might be protected from severe COVID-19 due to their chronic inflammatory state with increased CD38<sup>+</sup>CD8<sup>+</sup> effector memory and TEMRA T cells as well as CD161<sup>+</sup>CD8<sup>+</sup> T cells.
