Analysis of Return to Play After Modified Broström Lateral Ankle Ligament Reconstruction

Abstract

A high patient satisfaction rate was reported after the MBP for recurrent lateral ankle instability. The majority of patients who did not return to their preinjury level cited a non-ankle-related factor as the reason for not returning to sport. This was especially true for the higher level athletes.
