Continuous measurement of blood oxygen saturation (SpO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> ) is essential for the patients who have medical conditions that can reduce the amount of oxygen in their blood. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, pneumonia, lung cancer, anemia, heart failure, heart attack are examples of these conditions. Photoplethysmography (PPG) is commonly used technique to measure the SpO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> and many researchers have developed SpO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> measurement models based on the PPG signal. In our study, we have collected PPG signals from 35 healthy subjects and considered three SpO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> estimation models from the recent studies to estimate the SpO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> from the PPG signal. We have also presented a comparison analysis of estimating the blood oxygen saturation (SpO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> ) using the considered methods.
