Abstract

Thoracoscopic anatomical basilar individual segmentectomy has emerged as a safe and feasible procedure. The non-fissure approach enabled anatomic resection of a single segment or combined basal segments, helped avoid dissection of an incomplete fissure and facilitated surgical outcomes similar to the fissure approach.
