This report discusses ABAQUS-EPGEN, a general-purpose finite element computer code designed specifically to serve advanced structural analysis needs. Volume 1 is the user's manual and addresses the issues of: (1) the program and its terminology; (2) analysis procedures; (3) the element library; (4) material modeling options; (5) input specifications for model data and history data; (6) user subroutines; (7) input specifications for the postprocessor; (8) the format for the computer-readable file; and (9) postprocessing options.
