ON CHAETOGNATHS AND APPENDICULARIANS COLLECTED IN THE CENTRAL PART OF THE INDIAN OCEAN

Abstract

Chaetognaths and appendicularians were selected out of 26 plankton samples collected 2 l by the Syunkotu-maru, a training ship of the Simonoseki College of Fisheries, at 19 stations in the central part of the Indian Ocean, south-west to the Maldive Islands, during the period from Dec. 11, 1954 to Jan. 16, 1955 and offered to me for the identification by courtesy of Mr. S. TsURUTA of the Simonoseki College of Fisheries, to whom I express here
