Flow Through Catalytic Converters - An Analytical and Experimental Treatment

Abstract

<div class="htmlview paragraph">A method for measuring and comparing the flow distribution of a monolithic catalytic converter is developed and the important parameters influencing flow are determined. The pressure losses through a converter are measured and analyzed and a theoretical relationship between flow distribution and converter life is developed.</div>
