Healthcare use and RT‐PCR testing during the first wave of the COVID‐19 pandemic in Japan

Abstract

There was a low use of healthcare and testing among symptomatic patients during the first wave of the pandemic in Japan. Testing capacity should be increased to provide effective care for patients with suspected COVID-19 in Japan.
