To conclude, GLIPR1 played a pivotal role in COPD pathogenesis and protected against CS-induced inflammatory response and airway damage, including cell pyroptosis, through the PLAU/EGFR signaling. Thus, GLIPR1 may play a potential role in COPD treatment.
