Abstract

Smart warehousing is a monitoring system that uses IoT technology. Post harvest, the crops are stored and preserved in some prime condition. IoT sensors collect data about the warehouse climate and then act quickly based on the feedback from the farmers. This system enables farmers to have live data of temperature and humidity using NodeMCU and sensors. Proper air conditioning is a widely accepted method for preserving fruits and vegetables. In this work, smart warehousing is done to preserve crops by regulating warehouse parameters like temperature and humidity and withholding the environmental conditions along with the climate of the room used. The decision to control the temperature is taken using the decision tree algorithm, which is a supervised machine learning algorithm.
