The liver damage of biliary atresia was directly or indirectly exacerbated by the interaction of enriched <i>Klebsiella</i> (<i>K. pneumoniae</i>), <i>Veillonella</i> (<i>V. atypica</i>), and <i>Enterococcus</i> (<i>E. faecium</i>) with dysmetabolism of tryptophan and bile acid.
