Social Interest: A Meta-Analysis of a Multidimensional Construct

Abstract

Seeking a definition of social interest and its quantifiable meaningfulness to mental health have constructed measurement instruments and conducted extensive empirical research. The purpose of this research synthesis was to assess how social interest instruments correlate with each other and other constructs in psychology. The benefit would be to provide a basis for the further development of the construct of social interest.
