Design of ternary Pt–CoZn alloy catalysts coated with N-doped carbon towards acidic oxygen reduction

Abstract

N-doped carbon-coated ternary alloy catalysts (Pt–CoZn@NC) prepared by pyrolysis of Pt@ZIF precursors exhibit superior performances in the acid oxygen reduction reaction compared to binary alloy catalysts (Pt–Co@NC and Pt–Zn@NC) and commercial Pt/C.
