Background and Objective: Introduction: Among the heart diseases, coronary heart disease (CAD) is the leading cause of mortality in human societies and coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is the most common therapeutic intervention. Postsurgical hospitalization is an estimate of the success rate of surgery that cannot be fully explained by medical and demographic factors. Rather, psychological factors are important. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of anxiety, depression and stress which are one of the most important psychological factors related to the length of hospital stay after this surgery.
