In this paper, an electromagnet power energy harvester is proposed and experimented that using galloping force to achieve wind energy converting into usable electricity. When the device is subjected to a relative low wind speed excited, due to the galloping force, the square prism vibrates at a certain angle in the direction perpendicular to the wind excitation. To achieve multiple directions wind energy scavenging purpose, a 3 × 3 magnets array is determined to obtain the maximum flux changing rate at multiple directions of wind. It is indicated that the proposed energy harvester exists a maximum power 0.124 mW at 2.0 m/s.
