Sandwich hydrogel with confined plasmonic Cu/carbon cells for efficient solar water purification

Abstract

A sandwich hydrogel evaporator is obtained by confining plasmonic Cu/carbon cell solar absorbers in the evaporation surface of a PVA hydrogel to achieve high-efficiency solar water purification.
