Night Patrolling Robot

Abstract

Security is a necessity of every human being. With an increase in population the demand of security has increased. But due to lack of proper resources proper security cannot be arranged. To achieve proper security, it requires a heavy payment, which not all can afford. The aim of the research was to provide a solution to the problem by designing a smart robot that can provide quality security with a fraction of price, when considering long term effects. The idea was to design and implement a rover, that takes the advantage of modern technology allowing it to roam autonomously without the assistance of humans, scouring the area and alerting the control room once any abnormality has been detected. The robot has built in GPS navigation for figuring out the routes of its workplace. The robot is also equipped with a smart camera that allows for capturing of live video and images of the intruder when the time comes.
