Topical Pergolide Enhance Corneal Nerve Regrowth Following Induced Corneal Abrasion

Abstract

We demonstrated that pergolide can act to promote an increase in NGF which promotes corneal nerve regeneration and would therefore improve corneal sensation and visual acuity in eyes with peripheral neurotrophic keratopathy.
